Louis Derwa

Louis Derwa has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 1989.
He has been collaborating with Marc De KOCK (former chairman of the Dutch order of the Brussels Bar), Bernard Remiche (professor and lawyer at the law firm Sybarius) and has been Partner of the law firm Riquier Derwa Sluse (nowadays Iuris). He has been a Partner of L.in.K since the 1st of August 016.

Louis is a professor at the EPHEC University College (Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales). He also works as a deputy judge at the Commercial Court of Brussels and as an arbitrator at the Belgian Arbitration Sport Court (CBAS-BAS Cour Belge d’Arbitrage pour le Sport).

He essentially treats commercial matters (such as daily issues of independent contractors and of small and medium-sized enterprises : transfer, conflicts, company in difficulty, judicial reorganisation procedure and so on) and civil matters (contract law).
Former football player, he has been the counsel of a professional club for many years and has sat at the Licensing Commission of the Royal Belgian Football Association (URBSFA).

He also is the counsel of several athletes, clubs, federations and sport enterprises whose interests he defends with a team of specialists.
